In the developing countries, the general environment is under severe threats and pressure due to development and industrial exploitation. IDECC recognizes that this is a very serious issue for the next generation conservation biology, and promotes a close work between environmentalists and companies in order to minimize the negative effects of industry on the global environment. IDECC therefore partecipates and works as technical partner in local and international grant programs, collaborates with companies in Environmental Impact Assessments, and competes in worldwide calls focusing on West Africa. We also make evaluation and technical assistance on environmental issues when needed.
