IDECC pursues the sustainable development in order to preserve the key biodiversity areas. In order to do so, IDECC promotes an integrated approach with direct involvement of local communities and local governments for an appropriate management of the natural and the economical resources. Through the identification of an Eco Systemic model of Land Use Management and Planning, we encourage sustainable economic activities interconnected with socio-anthropological factors. Our model plans allowing to predict the needed equilibrium point between land exploitation and biodiversity maintenance for any area where the theoretical evenness is known as well as the potential and realized income of the local populations.
